Risks of Surgery to Remove Gall Stones

Approximately 750,000 Americans will have their gall bladders removed this year. Since there is such a high proportion of the population that is at risk for gall stones (about 1 in 12), it is very important to protect yourself from this harmful, painful and even deadly condition. Complications from gall stones can be serious, and even fatal, if left untreated. Having said this, I don't believe gall bladder surgery to be a good option.
